Customers who were already looking for you.
Your storefront serves the customers who find you. The Requex customer network serves the ones who have not heard of you yet: people who enter a registration on Requex, see a fitted price, and book the nearest verified workshop that can do the job. This guide shows how to get found on the customer network during the trial, which comes down to a complete profile, a short identity check, and prices that make you bookable.
How a customer network job reaches you
A customer on Requex looks up their vehicle, picks a tyre or a service, and sees workshops that cover their postcode with a price next to each. They pick one and book. If that is you, the job arrives in your workspace with the vehicle, the tyre size, the price and the slot already agreed. There is no quoting, no phone call, and the customer has usually already paid.
To be shown at all, a workshop needs three things: a coverage area, a complete profile, and a verified owner. To be shown with a price, it needs priced tyres and services. Everything on this page is about those four.
Set your coverage so the right customers see you
In Setup, choose Locations. A workshop sets its address and how far customers will travel to it. A mobile fitter sets a base and a radius they will drive. You can have both, and a customer is shown the kind of job you do for their area. A radius that is honest wins more jobs than a large one; a customer two hours away who books you is a job you will regret.
Complete the profile a customer actually reads
Open Setup, Marketplace. The profile is short: a description of the business in a few sentences, a logo or a photograph of the frontage, what you specialise in, and your opening hours. Customers read the description and look at the picture. Write it the way you would say it to someone at the counter.
- Say what you do well. "Vans and light commercials" or "mobile fitting across the city" is more useful than a list of every service.
- Use a real photograph. A workshop frontage or a clean van beats a stock image.
- Keep the hours accurate. A customer who arrives at a closed door does not come back.
Pass the identity check
The network only lists workshops whose owner has been verified, because customers are paying in advance for work by someone they have not met. The check takes a few minutes on your phone: a photo of a passport, driving licence or identity card, and a short selfie. The result is usually back within minutes; some checks go to a person and take a little longer.
Once verified, a badge shows on your profile. Customers choose verified workshops over unverified ones every time, which is why the check is worth doing on the day you join rather than the day you need it.
Be bookable, not just visible
A workshop with a profile but no prices is shown with an estimate, and the customer may choose someone whose price is real. Set your tyre prices and list your services, and your profile shows your own fitted price with a book button next to it. That is the difference between being seen and being booked.
If you want to take tyre jobs for next-day fitting, the workspace can order the tyre from a connected supplier against the booking, so you do not need stock to say yes.
Answer quickly and the network notices
Jobs for next-day fitting at your listed price are confirmed on their own. Quote requests, and jobs that need a word with the customer first, land in your inbox waiting on you. Workshops that answer within the hour win most of those; workshops that answer the next day win few. The Fixer app and the workspace both notify you, and the agent can draft the reply so answering takes a minute.
Your response time is shown to customers alongside your reviews, so it pays to be quick even on the jobs you decline.
What to expect in the first weeks
Network jobs arrive as a trickle at first and grow as reviews from completed jobs build. Each job completed through the network earns a review request to the customer, and reviews are shown on your profile. A workshop with a complete profile, a verified badge, real prices and a handful of reviews is the workshop that gets picked.
Everything you did in the earlier days of the trial, from pricing to scheduling, is what makes the customer network work for you now.
Häufige Fragen
What does a customer see on the network?
Workshops that cover their area, each with a description, a photo, a verified badge if the owner has passed the identity check, reviews, and a fitted price for what they are booking.
Why is the identity check required?
Customers pay in advance for work by someone they have not met. Verifying the owner is what makes that safe, and verified workshops are chosen over unverified ones.
Do I need to hold stock to take tyre jobs?
No. With a connected supplier the workspace orders the tyre against the booking for next-day fitting, so you can accept jobs on priced tyres you do not have on the shelf.
Does Requex charge for network jobs?
The network fee is shown on your plan page and on each job before you accept it. The customer's payment lands with you less that fee.
Can I turn network jobs off?
Yes. A switch in the Marketplace panel pauses your listing, for a holiday or a busy week, and turns it back on when you are ready.
